Recycled Kent

Quilted Fabric, Mixed Media, 17” x 22”

This quilt was conceived when my husband complained about the “junk” I had collected for use on my projects.  His portrait is painted with fabric paints and placed in the middle of the recycled “junk,” all hand-sewn onto the quilt.  This quilt turned out to be a prototype for the Alliance for American Quilter’s challenge, “People, Pattern, Passion.”  The second quilt had the word “Recycle” across its top in yellow lettering.
